What Is the 30-Day No-Fault Rule?
Under New York Insurance Law Article 51, every auto insurance policy must include Personal Injury Protection (PIP) coverage of at least $50,000. This coverage pays for your medical treatment after a car accident β regardless of fault. But you must file within 30 days.
